In 1928, Ruth Snyder murdered her husband Albert with the helping hand of her lover, Henry Judd Gray, after Albert had hung up a photograph of his deceased former fiancee and proclaimed her to have been the finest woman he had ever met. Henry was a married man who was besotted by Ruth and was ready to do anything to be with her.
Both Snyder and Gray were electrocuted to death at the Sing Sing prison in New York. This photo captures the moment Snyder was electrocuted to her death.
